The Green Business Week aims to drive qualified and sustainable employment, science and research, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship through the green economy.
On the 2nd and 3rd March, INNEON (Eco-Innovation Network for Investment) will be presenting its services to companies and Portuguese investors.
The turnover of the eco-innovation in Europe is estimated at 227,000 million euros, equivalent to 2.2% of EU GDP. It also directly employs 3.4 million people. To stimulate the development and potential of the sector, the EU knows that access to investment and financing networks is essential.
INNEON aims to extend public and private funding sources available for eco-innovation and social innovation in Europe, and provide a unique forum dedicated to the interaction between a selected cohort of innovators and relevant investors. Eco-innovation is a fast and growing market in EU and globally.
Up to now, INNEON has screened more than 130 entrepreneurs’ business opportunities from all over Europe and engaged more than 40 investors to the network.
