The Floatagen project receives Innovation award

H2020 Forum
The 6th edition of the Stars of Europe took place on the 5th of December 2018 at the Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac as part of the 5th Horizon 2020 Forum. Each year since 2013, the event, created by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, serves to award French teams for their European commitment in the development of research and innovation projects

Of the 50 candidates, 12 projects were selected by the jury for their scientific contributions and international dimension. Among them, the FLOATGEN project, led by IDEOL SA, received the Innovation Award. FLOATGEN's goal is to implement floating wind turbines in the deep waters of the Atlantic. The FLOATGEN project develops floating wind farms that will be installed in the next few years. To achieve its ambitious objectives, the project is led by a European consortium, of which Zabala Innovation Consulting is a member.

After assisting IDEOL in obtaining European funding for the FLOATGEN project, negotiating the Consortium agreement and overseeing its amendments, Zabala Innovation Consulting will continue to be involved in the success of FLOATGEN, being responsible for the management and communication of the project.
