After the end of the evaluation of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) COFUND Call 2016 (deadline: 29 September 2016), the European Commission has informed applicants and has published first results on the Participant Portal.

Out of a total of 111 evaluated proposals, 43 were submited as Doctoral Programmes and 68 as Fellowship Programmes for postdocs. 89 proposals were above the call threshold for funding (score of at least 50) and the total requested budget from these proposals amounted to about EUR 251 million. With a call budget of EUR 80 million, proposals for Doctoral Programmes had to score at least 86 and proposals for Fellowship Programmes at least 90 in order to be retained for funding (ranking list with percentage).

The signature of the Grant Agreements is scheduled for 1 May 2017. After that date, the Commission will be able to publish further call results such as the number of funded proposals and project details on the CORDIS website.
