Reducing the cost of offshore wind farms and boosting the renewables industry in Europe 
 
Wikinger offshore wind farm grid connected

Iberdrola has successfully connected the 350-MW wind farm to the power grid in Germany. Wikinger will be the scenary of one of the three multi-scale offshore pilots included in the Romeo Project.

Our partner IBM Research (Zurich) has been developing predictive maintenance machine learning technologies.
DistribuTECH, meeting point for transmission, distribution and smart grid industries
Our partner INDRA has attended the three-day event, one of the leading smart grid conference and exposition in North America.
ROMEO Technical Committee Meeting
After six months from ROMEO’s kick off meeting , Work Package Leaders met on December 14th in Zurich to celebrate the Technical Committee Meeting.
