The second FIWARE Summit is happening next week in Utrecht
For the second time the FIWARE Community will meet for three days in an event including a conference, workshops and social events

2nd FIWARE Summit will happen from 29th to the 31st of May in Utrecht, the Netherlands. After the success of the first summit in Malaga last December, this new edition will facilitate the creation of new links between the FIWARE Community, the industry, start-ups and public administration from all over the world.

The summit will comprise several tracks in parallel:

  • Community working groups. ZABALA will participate in the Acceleration working group where current and future status of the acceleration initiatives will be analysed.

  • Verticals like Smart Industry, Smart Cities and Agrofood industries.

  • Conference tracks oriented to business developers, CEOs, administration officers, NGOs and the FIWARE Community.

  • TM Forum workshop: The API economy is an enabler for turning a business or organization into a platform.

  • Hackacity at the FIWARE Summit Utrecht Hackacity is a competition which aims at testing and using cities’ Open Data on a non-stop hackathon.

ZABALA organizes a session on public funding for start-ups on Wednesday at 9:30. Miguel García will be our representative in the Summit. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the FIWARE Foundation and an expert consultant on public funding for innovation projects.
