ZABALA participates in 4 European projects which have been nominated for the .eu Web Awards

On the 21st of November, the winners of the 2018 .eu Web Awards are to be announced at an award ceremony in Brussels. ZABALA has active roles in four out of the sixteen projects nominated for the award: it coordinates the IRSUS project, leads the dissemination and communication strategy for the REZBUILD project and is partner in the STARDUST and EFFEECT projects.

The .eu Web Awards is an online competition, launched in 2014 and designed to acknowledge the best websites, using the .eu or. ею extensions, in five dynamic categories: Leaders, Rising Stars, Laurels, the house of .EU and the better world.

The winners will be those finalists who receive the highest points from the jury and they will be announced during the Awards ceremony, held in Brussels, Belgium on 21 November 2018, and ZABALA will be there. The five winners will receive the following: Custom trophy and certificate, custom video, billboard advertising and Digital .eu or .ею Web Awards icon.

ZABALA Innovation Consulting

There are 4 projects (Rezbuild, Irsus, Effect y Stardust) in which ZABALA participates as a partner, leading and supporting the different work packages of the projects, and this ones have been nominated as a finalist for the category of .Eu Web Awards.

The Irsus project will bridge the gaps faced by innovators (research teams, SMEs, spinoffs & start-ups) to reach the market with a feasible, viable and attractive business case and strategy for users, clients, partners and investors. The Rezbuild Project is a new European initiative funded by the Horizon2020 Programme of the European Commission that grows with the main aim of defining an innovative and collaborative refurbishment ecosystem for transforming RE assets into Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB). ZABALA participates in Rezbuild’s project, leads by OVERDI, supporting the coordination and leading the dissemination and communication actions and the exploitation of results.

 The Effect project aims to enhance visibility and impact of FET research in a wide diversity of actors (researchers, industry, policy makers, civil society organizations, citizens etc.) and to stimulate debate and collaboration among multiple stakeholders through dedicated community building and public engagement activities. FUNDAZIONE ICONS leads the project and the work package of dissemination, communication and the web design and development. If you want to have a look at the website, you can do it in here.

The Stardust project is to pave the way towards the decarbonisation and transformation of the cities into Smart, highly efficient, intelligent and citizen-oriented cities, developing urban technical green solutions and innovative business models, integrating the domains of buildings, mobility and efficient energy through ICT, testing and validating these solutions, enabling their fast roll out in the market. Pamplona (ES), Tampere (FI) and Trento (IT)-willl be lighthouse cities with the associated follower cities of Cluj-Napoca (Rumanía), Derry (UK), Kozani (GR) and Litomerice (CZ). CENER (National Renewable Energy Centre of Spain) leads the project and Fondazione iCons- iCube programme leads the work package of dissemination and communication and the web development. Irsus and Rezbuild’s project have been nominated in the “Better World” category, for the environmental message. On the other hand, Stardust and Effect’s project have been nominated in the “Laureates” category, related to the education sector.
