European Commission launches EU Prize for Women Innovators 2017
The EU Prize for Women Innovators 2017 competition, which awards female entrepreneurs who have successfully brought an innovation to market, opens today.
Call for Innovation Proposals (CIP) is open from 1 June and will close on 11 Oct 2016 under the motto "Sustainable energy: sustainable innovation"
The European Commission and the Human Brain Project Coordinator, the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), have signed the first Specific Grant Agreement (SGA1), releasing EUR 89 million in funding retroactively from 1st April 2016 until the end of March 2018.
The European Research Council (ERC) has announced today the awarding of its Starting Grants to 325 early-career researchers throughout Europe. The funding, worth in total €485 million and up to €1.5 million per grant, will enable them to set up their own research teams and pursue ground-breaking ideas.
28 000 votes send 16 innovators to Innovation Radar Finale
On 1 August 2016 Commissioner Oettinger launched the Innovation Radar prize 2016, a European Commission initiative to celebrate high potential innovators developing digital innovations in EU-funded research and innovation projects.
The competition for the European Broadband Awards 2016 is open to all projects irrespective of size, location or technologies used. Selected finalists and winners will be presented at the B-DAY: Going Giga event in November in Brussels. Just a few days left till the deadline!
