Elena Reig is a Civil Engineer, specialising in Hydraulics and Energy, and holds a Master’s Degree in Structures, Foundations and Materials, both from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. With extensive experience in the development of innovative solutions in the field of Offshore Wind Energy, he has more than 5 years of experience in the management of R&D projects, preparing and managing proposals for large national and international companies. He has actively participated in the preparation and management of more than 15 H2020 projects, leading the submission during 2020 of three approved projects mobilising €44M. In addition, he has actively participated in the preparation of several projects in the framework of other European programmes (Innovation Fund, H2020, SMEI, LIFE, ERASMUS+), national grants and tax deductions. He is currently a member of the Energy Knowledge Area.
