Pamplona OfficeNéstor Etxaleku holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Public University of Navarra (Spain). He works at Zabala Innovation since 2007 becoming an expert in Corporate Innovation Management, R&D Tax Deduction and Environmental Investments, International Bidders, New Business Implementation, and Open Innovation. He was in charge of the start-up of Zabala’s headquarters in Valencia for 2 years. He is currently a Senior Consultant focusing on the fields of food and beverage, agriculture, bioeconomy, rural development, and environment. Within Zabala he has managed several projects and related activities oriented to these fields, being the internal response of European calls for proposals addressed to these topics. He has been Zabal’s representative in the Spanish Biocluster (SBIOC) and has actively participated in EU-funded projects such as SENSE, aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of food-related processes, or BLOCKCHERS, to introduce Blockchain technologies in traditional sectors.
