Xabier Sevillano has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Navarra, having completed his doctoral thesis in the field of biological wastewater treatment. He has more than 10 years of experience in R&D&I project management, preparing and managing proposals for large national companies. He is currently responsible for the management of regional calls for environmental and energy efficiency grants and is a member of the team responsible for the LIFE Programme, the only financial instrument of the European Union dedicated exclusively to the environment. His participation in the projects ECO-PRO (Professional promotion of eco-innovative research results through a new media integrated platform for SMEs, research and the public) and INNEON (network of Eco-Innovation financiers), both focused on Eco-Innovation, should be highlighted. He has contributed to these projects with the analysis and classification of R&D projects in eco-innovation, and the analysis and business ideas from a technical point of view.

Europe offers many opportunities to support and foster Research, Development and Innovation actions. Competition is high and being well positioned among stakeholders active in each sector requires a well thought-out plan of action and an active way of promoting visibility in Brussels.
To maximise the success and impact of a project, we manage the communication and dissemination activities, but we also define a social innovation strategy and tools to measure its impact.
