Iñaki Armendáriz

Iñaki Armendáriz has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Public University of Navarra (Spain) and complemented his career with two master’s degrees. The first, in Design Engineering, specialising in processes and tools for project and product innovation, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain); and the second, taught by the International University of La Rioja (Spain), focused on the Design and Management of Technological Projects, from project management through PMI and Scrum methodologies to the implementation of technological R&D&I programmes, both national and international.

His professional experience has always been linked to the industrial sector, performing product engineering, production, and project management functions in sectors such as renewables, refrigeration and ceramics. Currently, he works as a consultant in European R&D&I project management, analysing different opportunities for clients and participating in the preparation of proposals in Horizon Europe and other national and regional EU programmes.

In addition, he is co-coordinator of the REACH project Work Package, of which Zabala is a partner, in the management of calls for proposals in the field of entrepreneurship. As a member of the Regions knowledge area, he is specialised in interregional programmes such as Interreg, Single Market Programme and European Innovation Ecosystems, and internally coordinates the European Urban Initiative, as well as in local, regional, and national cooperation initiatives, managing a portfolio of clients in the field of public administration, cooperative federations and local development consortia.
