Zabala Innovation participated as an internal evaluating entity in the START IN project, financed by the ERASMUS+ Programme, which started in September 2017 and ended in August 2018. This project aimed to foster social and inclusive entrepreneurship through education and collaboration with training centres and teachers.
The START IN project focuses on the development of new educational approaches in social entrepreneurship to decrease the digital divide between teachers and students, in addition to improving learning and teaching practices in skills, attitudes and knowledge in relation to innovation, combining it with pedagogy, technology and processes.
The work methodology is based on some of the following points: the development of innovative educational products for training teachers; participatory collaboration within the partnership and capacity building sessions aimed at training teachers on the methodologies developed during the project, to be carried out with students in schools.
To carry out the challenges faced by the project, some of the following considerations are taken into account: multilingual e-learning platforms with innovative e-Learning courses and open educational resources; a guide with recommendations and training modules on inclusive and innovative entrepreneurial education.
This project has been financed with the support of the European Commission.
“The European Commission considers entrepreneurship as key to development in Europe. Considering the new social challenges that Europe is experiencing, the promotion of a social mindset and attitude towards entrepreneurship is necessary to identify powerful and innovative solutions”
