Three European programmes to drive social transformation by 2025
Horizon Europe Cluster 2, CERV, and Creative Europe fund projects addressing major challenges in this area

ENERGY STORAGE
An initiative promoted by the European Commission to bring together specialists and define roadmaps for research into energy storage systems

The European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) on batteries, called Batteries Europe, is one of the actions of the Strategic Action Plan on Batteries, adopted by the European Commission in May 2018. It will take forward the work on batteries developed under the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan Action 7) and the Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda (STRIA).
Batteries Europe will be the “one-stop-shop” for battery R&D in Europe. It will bring together research, industry, and representatives from various Commission services and Member States to identify, prioritise and coordinate the main research and innovation needs for the entire battery value chain in Europe.
Batteries Europe, with the support of Zabala Innovation as one of the 6 core consortium partners, aims to become the place where stakeholders (the research community, industry players, Commission services, and the Member States, including their regional governments) not only exchange and coordinate their battery R&D efforts, but also mobilise resources to carry out battery R&D activities. In addition, it will

SLIM's objective is to introduce technological advances to minimise impact and eliminate risks, taking into account the economic, social and environmental dimensions of mines.

The main objective of the project was to promote the development of innovation systems in several companies located in Colombia.
