The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is a European Union programme designed to support and fund infrastructure projects across Europe. For the period 2021-2027, CEF focuses on three main areas: transport, energy, and digital services. It provides financial support for projects that build and upgrade transport networks, enhance energy systems, and expand digital infrastructure, contributing to a more interconnected and resilient Europe. The programme has an allocated budget of €33.7 billion for this period.

CEF Transport
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Transport is a funding programme designed to support the development and upgrading of transport infrastructure across Europe. Its main goal is to create a more efficient and interconnected transport network by investing in roads, railways, ports, and airports.
CEF Digital
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital is a funding programme designed to advance and improve telecommunications networks across Europe. It supports the development of broadband infrastructure and enhances the interoperability of communication systems within the EU, focusing on expanding high-performance infrastructure.
