Zabala Innovation France has celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special event alongside professionals from different offices and teams across the company, in a gathering marked by closeness, recognition of the journey shared so far and the consolidation of the project within the French ecosystem.
What began ten years ago as an internationalisation challenge has today become a strategic part of the business, with sustained growth, a strong presence in France and an increasingly significant role in European innovation projects.
“One of the main objectives from the outset was to build a project closely connected to the French ecosystem, capable of combining local knowledge with Zabala Innovation’s international vision,” explains Valérian Gobé, director of the consultancy in France, in an interview published on this website. Ten years on, Zabala Innovation France has established itself as a multidisciplinary team that continues to grow.
The celebration took place at Château Léognan, in Bordeaux, where the day began with breakfast in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Ainhoa Zabala and Erik Zabala, CEOs of the consultancy, thanked the team for their involvement, effort and commitment over the years, highlighting the evolution of Zabala Innovation France and the work carried out to consolidate this project.
Gobé then shared a few words focused particularly on the people who have made the evolution of Zabala Innovation France possible. Through a series of milestones and anecdotes from these ten years, he highlighted the team’s role in building and consolidating the French subsidiary, involving everyone present in the achievements reached.
Ramón Vallés, the company’s director of International Corporate Development, completed this overview by underlining the strategic importance of Zabala Innovation France within the company’s international growth and the journey shared over the past decade.
One of the most special moments of the day was the recognition given to the people who have been part of the consultancy for the longest time, highlighting their commitment and contribution to the organisation’s growth.

After the event and the presentation of a small commemorative anniversary gift, the team shared a meal together. In the afternoon, the celebration continued at Château de la Louvière, in Bordeaux, where attendees took part in a guided tour of the winery and gained first-hand insight into the winemaking process and the history of the site.
The day concluded with a wine tasting, ending an anniversary that served not only to celebrate the growth of Zabala Innovation France, but also to strengthen connections between teams and recognise the journey built over these ten years.
Over the course of this decade, Zabala Innovation France has supported companies, start-ups, universities, technology centres and public bodies in the development of innovation projects, consolidating an increasingly relevant position within the French and European ecosystem.
This anniversary represents a new step in the evolution of the office and an opportunity to continue building, together with the team and clients, the coming years of growth and innovation.
