Packaging fresh meat with wood-derived products

The EU- funded project “European Federation of Data Driven Innovation Hubs” (EUHubs4Data) has announced the results of its second open call for experiments, aimed at supporting SMEs and entrepreneurs’ innovative experiments by financing them with a total budget of 840K €. The EUHubs4Data open call received 78 proposals from 20 different countries, and 14 of them will be selected.
EUHubs4Data project’s objective is to consolidate as the European reference for data-driven innovation and experimentation, fostering collaboration between data-driven initiatives in Europe, federating solutions in a common global catalogue of data services, and sharing data on a cross-border and cross-sector basis.
In this second open call, the project looked for SMEs (including start-ups) and groups of web entrepreneurs to propose experiments that make use of the EUHubsData federated catalogue of data-driven services and datasets for the development of innovative products or advanced services.
These experiments will contribute to the growth of the global data economy and common European data spaces and will join the Cross-Border Data Driven experiments programme.
The second open call was closed on the 8th of February 2022, and the innovative experiments selected to be financed will start in May and will have a duration of 9 months.
The country where most proposals were submitted was Germany (13), followed by Italy (12) and Spain (9). In total, EUHubs4Data received proposals from 20 different countries.

EUHubs4Data aims to support companies on their way to digitisation by bringing them closer to all smart data-driven technologies. The total call budget in this second open call was 840.000 €.

The EUHubs4Data project has allocated, for its three-year duration, €5.8 million to support third parties to undertake a set of cross-border data-driven experiments. So, if you missed this second call, there will be one more round.
