The Data Portability and Services Incubator invites you to its final event

On the 2nd of June 2021, DAPSI, coordinated by ZABALA Innovation, organises its final event to talk about interoperability.

The Data Portability and Services Incubator (DAPSI), coordinated by ZABALA, aims to empower top internet innovators to develop human-centric solutions, addressing the challenge of personal data portability on the internet, as foreseen under the GDPR, and make it significantly easier for citizens to have any data which is stored with one service provider transmitted directly to another provider.

DAPSI final event – the web after the platforms

On the 2nd of June 2021, the DAPSI final event will discuss the implications of web standards describing the opportunities to build a different web, to give back control of data usage, and to allow fair competition conditions. Based on the input from various use cases, entrepreneurs will learn how to leverage the potential of newly established standards. Moreover, the event will too shed light on the seven winning projects of the European challenge by DAPSI.

The final online event will gather all European stakeholders in digital innovation such as large companies, public actors, academics, innovative start-ups & SMEs, representatives of associations and civil society and journalists. The event will be in English and French with simultaneous translation.

Morning 09:45-12:00 – Interoperability as a means for rebuilding the web

Afternoon – 13:30-16:45 – DAPSI FINAL EVENT

The 7 winning DAPSI projects will be presented and there will be roundtables with the DAPSI project leaders. The first roundtable will focus on the issues of uses, user experience & adoption, the second one on technology transfer and scaling up issues.
