Your R&D project has been funded, but you are facing difficulties in its future development? Find out how the European Union Project Management service can help you to achieve an efficient execution of your project and ensure full funding.
Securing European funding is only the first step. The real challenge lies in the effective execution of your project to ensure full funding is secured. Find out how the European Project Management service can help you reach an efficient execution of your project and ensure full funding.
Achieving European funding is an arduous task due to the highly competitive nature of the various programmes managed by the European Commission. However, once this objective has been achieved, a new challenge arises: the correct implementation of the project. During a minimum period of three years, in collaboration with various entities from other countries, we will have to carry out our project respecting the rules and procedures established by the European Commission. To do this, it is essential to have effective management tools and knowledge to ensure compliance with the objectives set and the full receipt of the funding granted.
At Zabala Innovation we have been working from FP6 to the current Horizon Europe in the management of EU projects as well as in other European funding programmes such as LIFE, Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), Innovation Fund or Interreg, among others. This has allowed us to have a specific service in European Project Management in which we have developed our own working methodology that we can adapt to different European programmes.
Our approach is based on flexibility and adaptation to the specific needs of each project and client. As Raquel Maeztu, leader of the European Project Management service, explains in the video, we can act as external support for the coordinator, either for specific projects or acting as a project office within your organisation, providing multidisciplinary work that includes our knowledge of management procedures together with administrative, legal and financial issues.
We are also capable of developing these activities through direct engagement in the projects, participating actively as partners and, in certain instances, taking on the role of project coordinators. This allows us to bring our expertise to bear not only in a supportive capacity but also in leading and managing our own projects effectively.
We provide extensive and detailed support throughout the complete lifecycle of your project. This means we assist our clients right from the preparation phase of the contract with the European Commission, specifically the Grant Agreement (GA), while also offering expert advice on the drafting of the Consortium Agreement (CA), which is crucial to ensure the correct involvement and participation of all partners in the project. Furthermore, we support the consortia in the preparation of their reports and conduct thorough analyses of any deviations that occur to determine if amendments to the contract with the Commission are necessary.
At Zabala Innovation, our unwavering commitment is to leverage our extensive experience in European Project Management to ease our clients’ day-to-day tasks, minimizing any potential risks and providing robust solutions to any challenges that may emerge. Our vast expertise in managing European projects empowers us to deliver top-tier advice, ensuring each project phase is executed with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
We spearhead a variety of initiatives to bolster the implementation of your project, offering comprehensive project management services; communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies; social innovation; cascade funding; and European platform management. With participation in over 113 projects as partners (60+ currently active) and leadership in 14 projects as coordinators, we have collaborated with more than 1300 project partners and secured cumulative funding amounting to 48 million euros.
Partnering with Zabala Innovation guarantees that your project will not only adhere to the stringent standards set by the European Commission but will also successfully achieve all outlined objectives, thereby maximizing the impact and cost-efficiency of the secured funding.
