Towards climate neutrality
Our colleagues Igor Idareta and Maite García debate in this conversation about the goal of climate neutrality and the public resources to achieve it
HYDROGEN
In this publication, we explore the rise of green hydrogen in the European context, examining the topics and funding opportunities currently supporting its implementation
Green or renewable hydrogen is produced through a process called electrolysis, which utilizes renewable energies such as wind and solar to separate water (H2O) into oxygen (O) and hydrogen (H2) without emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Hydrogen is the most abundant chemical element in nature and a clean energy source that only produces water vapor, leaving no residues in the air, unlike fossil fuels. Therefore, in the mission to decarbonize the planet by 2050, green hydrogen is a crucial ally.
In this publication, we will explore the rise of green hydrogen in the European context and examine the topics and funding opportunities currently supporting the implementation of green or renewable hydrogen projects in Europe. Download it here!
