Damián Muruzábal holds a degree in Biology, a master’s degree in Drug Research, Development and Innovation and a PhD in Toxicology.

He has several years of experience in the development and application of tools to assess the safety of food ingredients and chemical compounds.

In addition, he has extensive experience in the preparation, execution and management of R&D projects. He is currently the leader of the Food and Bioeconomy knowledge area at Zabala Innovation.
