Javier Alonso

Javier Alonso is a Telecommunications Engineer with more than 8 years of experience in the definition of business strategies for public funding for the implementation of R&D&I projects, as well as in the comprehensive management of files for obtaining funding before European, national and regional bodies (presentation/monitoring/justification). He is a Digital Advisor approved by RED.es for the realisation of Digitisation Plans to help SMEs in the incorporation of ICT in their processes (business management, relationship with third parties, e-commerce and digitisation of services and solutions). He has participated in the definition and management of more than 100 R&D&I projects promoted by both companies and technology centres in areas, such as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Production Technologies, Aeronautics, Industrial Design and Defense Systems. Javier has advised and supported more than 50 companies throughout the country in the definition of a tax strategy to be carried out, in the preparation of the support and in the assessment of the companies’ activities for the qualification as research, development or innovation activities, for the corresponding use of tax benefits. He is currently in charge of the Information Technology team at Zabala’s office in Madrid, leading a team of 10 highly qualified professionals (Telecommunications Engineers, Industrial Engineers and Computer Engineers) and providing services to dozens of companies of all sizes (from SMEs to multinationals) and sectors (energy, IT, logistics, automotive…).
