Maite García

Maite García is an Industrial Engineer specialised in mechanics. She has more than 12 years of experience in R&D project management, promoting, elaborating and managing proposals for large national companies and SMEs. She he has presented actions for the railway and energy sectors, enabled the securing of grants and soft loans that have covered up to 25% of the projects’ budgets. In addition, she is specialised in the optimisation of public financing through deductions for R&D activities, which can account for up to 40% of project costs. The proposals she submits cover the entire range of calls for proposals, promoting and managing projects of a few thousand euros, but with a high impact on competitiveness and employment in SMEs; however, she also manages large European cooperation projects with proposals for grants of approximately 20 million euros. Maite leads the EQF work team and is responsible for large national companies in the automotive and transport sectors. She also participates and manages large national and international cooperative projects.
