Europe drives educational innovation with new Erasmus+ calls
Alliances for Innovation and Centres of Vocational Excellence take centre stage in Key Action 2, with deadlines ranging from February to June 2025
DigiFed offers grants of up to € 55k as well as technical and business support to start-ups, SMEs or Mid-Caps for the development of smart applications in Europe.

The Horizon 2020 project “Digital Innovation Hubs Federation For Large Scale adoption of digital technologies by European SMEs“ (DigiFed) opens today its first call for applications.
Operating within the framework of the Smart Anything Everywhere Initiative, DigiFed seeks to boost the adoption of advanced digital technologies, or cyber-physical systems (CPS), by European Start-up, SMEs and Mid-Caps with a focus on non-digital businesses.
It will help applicants implement business plans for the sustainability of a federation of Digital Innovation Hubs designated by the European Commission, while providing key support mechanisms for both individual companies and groups of SMEs to foster the introduction of digital technologies in their product-and-service offerings.
The first call is specifically aimed towards “Application Experiments”, meaning that the applying company has a good idea of an innovation, a clear market vision and is in need of technical and/or business innovation expertise to validate the concept. Applicants are invited to apply if they are:

Coordinated by CEA-Leti, with Nanolec IRT, the three-year, €7.9 million project includes the companies AVL (Austria), BluMorpho (France), STMicroelectronics (France and Italy), and Zabala (Belgium); universities BME (Hungary), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), research center Digital Catapult (United Kingdom), and Ikerlan (Spain); and hub-focused entities Minalogic (France) and Steinbeis Innovation (Germany).
