By joining The DAPSI Programme, innovators can receive up to €150k, technical & business support, and access to top infrastructure. In a two-phase supporting programme, the projects will develop advanced solutions in the Data Portability field, attend training sessions, pitch and access top infrastructures, with coaching support. Some of those projects will progress to the second phase where the solutions will be fostered to evolve into solid projects to gain enough traction for deployment and get ready for the market.
The Open Call addresses the following domains:
Deadline to apply for the 2nd Open Call is on 20 January 2021, 12:00 (noon) CET
The results of the 1st open call
Previously, the 1st open call awoke the interest of the researchers and innovators, exceeding the expectations in terms of call participation receiving 182 applications. Sara Mateo, the project coordinator of DAPSI, in the interview said: ‘A hard and intense process of selection resulted in 11 winning proposals with more than 1.3M€ of funding committed to supporting them. We officially started the incubation programme with our innovators in September. Let’s see the interesting results they deliver in the coming months!’
For the second Open Call, the budget will increase to €2.1M. Sara Mateo continues: ‘This means that we could select up to 18 new projects to join DAPSI in this second round.’
At the end of January, DAPSI will organise an event with the 11 projects selected in the 1st open call. They will have the opportunity to present the main results achieved until then. A jury of experts in the field will select the 7 best projects that will pass to the next phase of the incubation where they will get extra funding (up to 50k€).
