European funding that turns innovation into companies
The keys to EIC Accelerator, EIC Pathfinder and Eurostars
The European Green Week 2020, the biggest annual event on European environmental policy, will be taking place from 19 to 22 October.

The EU Green Week 2020 will take place on 19-22 October on the theme of nature and biodiversity. The event, organised by the European Commission, is the biggest annual event on European environmental policy and will consist of an opening event in Lisbon, a conference in Brussels and partner events around Europe.
After the adoption of a new EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 in May, the EU Green Week will gather stakeholders from all around Europe to debate about the contribution biodiversity can make to society and the economy, and the role it can play in stimulating recovery in a post-pandemic world, bringing jobs and sustainable growth.
The EU Green Week will also examine how EU policies such as the European Green Deal can help protect and restore nature. Another important point this year is that the event will set some key thematic points for the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, now scheduled for 2021, where world leaders will adopt a 10-year action plan for biodiversity, a new global agreement for people and nature.
Those organisations or projects (from the LIFE, H2020 or other calls) interested in participating in Green Week can register their events on environmental topics taking place between 14 September and 23 October 2020. The deadline for applying for a partner event has been extended until 31 August.
