We allocated 20,000 euros to support the projects of organizations that are transforming lives at the local, national, and international levels
At Zabala Innovation, projects that inspire and transform the world hold a special place, and the call for solidarity initiatives is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the year.
Every year, our teams, from the 13 offices that make up Zabala Innovation, have the opportunity to submit proposals that reflect their commitment to causes that create a positive impact on society. These initiatives cover essential areas such as health, social inclusion, education, and environmental protection.
This is a participatory process. All proposals are put to an internal vote, and the most supported ones receive financial backing to continue their valuable work.
In 2024, the call was even more special. Half of the funds were allocated to assist the victims of the DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels) that hit the Valencia region hard, while the remaining funds continued to support the solidarity projects selected by our team.
When commitment is translated into concrete actions, people’s lives can change for the better. One such example is the Aspace Navarra Association, dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy, proposed in this call by Sancho Ubani, senior consultant at Zabala Innovation.
With the help of the donation received this year, Aspace was able to acquire a ceiling hoist with a harness for the Virgen de Orreaga School in Cizur (Navarre, Spain). This equipment not only helps children with reduced mobility participate in sports activities, but also allows them to practice sports in a vertical position, significantly improving their health and well-being.
In 2024, we supported the following 10 associations working on crucial causes:
Improving the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy, this association supports more than 800 families throughout their lives, promoting their full social integration.
Since 1989, ADANO has improved the quality of life for children with cancer and their families, working closely with the Navarra Health Complex and offering educational, psychosocial, and recreational programs.
“Thanks to Zabala Innovation, children with cancer in Navarra, through ADANO, now have very welcoming spaces in the hospital and activities and people who accompany them to make their time and stay here more pleasant.”
With a vision inspired by Islamic values, this international NGO works to mitigate the impact of disasters, promote sustainable livelihoods, and give a voice to vulnerable communities worldwide.
From Kigoma, Tanzania, Karibia supports local initiatives that empower disadvantaged communities. This year, with the donation from Zabala Innovation, their project to reduce maternal and infant mortality through incubators and access to safe blood has been supported.
Dedicated to removing plastic waste from the ocean, this foundation leads innovative projects to protect the seas and fight pollution.
Supporting families since 1986, this association seeks to improve the quality of life of those facing this disease by promoting research and specialized treatments.
Promoting inclusive access to sports, Haszten works in Vizcaya to ensure that children with functional diversity can enjoy adapted physical activities.
Supporting people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, this association offers comprehensive programs including physiotherapy, speech therapy, and social support, as well as promoting research on this degenerative disease.
Promoting mental health, this association provides psychological support and guidance 24/7, addressing crucial issues such as suicide prevention and unwanted loneliness.
Dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals, Egapeludos also works on animal welfare education and advises local authorities on protection protocols.
