The European Commission extends H2020 deadlines

Learn about the economic measures taken in Europe to minimize the impact of COVID-19 and the extended dates of the original calls for proposals between 12 March and 15 April.

European Commission’s economic measures in the face of COVID-19

On 16 March, the European Commission sent a draft proposal for a temporary framework for state aid to support the economy in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak to remedy a serious disturbance in the EU economy.

New closing dates for affected calls

According to a Funding and Tenders Portal notice, the recent escalation of restrictions related to the COVID-19 outbreak may hinder applicants’ ability to prepare and finalize high-quality proposals. For this reason, for the Horizon 2020 calls with original deadlines between 12 March and 15 April and some other calls in the ERASMUS, LIFE, PRIMA programmes…, the deadline for applications has been extended. The new deadlines for each call and theme will be published on the calls and themes pages of the Funding and Tenders Portal.
