World Creativity Innovation Day

Creativity and Innovation as the hallmark of Zabala Innovation

World Creativity Innovation Day

The Zaragoza team has enjoyed a very special day with an activity designed to highlight the different ways each person contributes to innovation processes, in celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day. Through a creative profile test —adapted to the Zabala Innovation style, with touches of humor, closeness, and a lot of intention— participants explored their unique ways of thinking, creating, and contributing to the team.

This dynamic was especially meaningful for the Zaragoza office, which this year has transitioned from being a delegation to becoming a fully-fledged headquarters. This growth is reflected in the addition of new team members, the expansion of capabilities, and, above all, the diversity of profiles: there are now seven people on the team. With this evolution came the opportunity to strengthen internal cohesion and create spaces to get to know each other better, beyond day-to-day projects.

The creativity test invited each person to reflect on how they respond to challenges, how they collaborate, how they generate ideas, and how they shape solutions. Based on their responses, each participant was matched with a dominant profile among these four creative styles:

  • The Compass, which brings strategy, big-picture thinking, and natural leadership.
  • The Magnifying Glass, representing deep analysis, critical thinking, and precision.
  • The Paintbrush, associated with careful execution, attention to detail, and tangible creativity.
  • The Spark, symbolizing intuitive energy, disruption, and a passion for the new.

The results served as a starting point for sharing reflections, identifying with the different profiles, and even joking about the strengths (and challenges!) of each style. Some participants also showed combined profiles, highlighting how many people switch creative approaches depending on the context —something that was equally celebrated.

Beyond the activity itself, the day was an opportunity to build trust, open new conversations, and strengthen team bonds. At Zabala Innovation, we believe innovation happens when diverse perspectives come together, when individual styles are respected, and when we nurture environments where everyone can bring out their best.

Creativity is not just a skill — it’s an attitude that runs through everything we do. And in Zaragoza, it’s clear there’s talent, motivation, and plenty of ways to bring ideas to life.
