X2.0 will bring together 350 validated Impact Builders able to deliver cross border services to startups and 75 corporations seeking partnerships with startups
The European project, X2.0 – Driving deeptech growth– will launch its first webinar for Impact Builders on January, 16th at 10:00h, addressed mainly to applicants: interested companies and individuals that can provide different startups with services in finance seeking, commercialization, internationalization, legal needs, scientific needs, and business development to ensure future market penetration of the innovative solutions.
The project is seeking Impact Builders, who will ideally bring in explicit knowhow and resources for problem solving, tailored specifically to the startups needs. They will be experts in the following domains:
The webinar will be guided by our experts Sara Mateo, Entrepreneurship Area Leader, and Guillermo Mateos, European R&D and Innovation consultant in Zabala Innovation Europe, who will solve all questions regarding to the project, telling the benefits of involving as an Impact Builder.
It will be via GoToWebinar and entirely given in English by part of the project team. Here is the agenda:
10:00-10:30 : Introduction to X2.0 Europe
10:30-11:00 : Questions and AOB
The first Open Call will be launched at the beginning of January, and it will be addressed to Deep-tech startups in Manufacturing & Circular Economy, whose business model is based on high-tech innovation in engineering, or significant scientific advances.
X2.0 will offer a custom and needs-based 5-month Deep-tech programme tailored to the needs of each startup, ensuring growth, scaling up long-term impact, and cross-border connections.
X2.0 is a deeptech growth programme that seeks to ensure the scaling up of EU deeptech startups by providing custom, industry-focused, growth programme that will act as a catalyst in delivering market-ready applications and technology solutions in 5 key impact areas: Manufacturing & Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech & BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data & A.I.).
The project will distribute €1.5M in innovation and scaling up services to 50 deep-tech startups and will contribute to the offering of the EIC program. From November 2022 to November 2024 X2.0 will launch five open calls.
It will promote the growth and strengthening of relationships between moderately innovative and highly innovative regions by providing needs-based, custom, industry-focused, growth programs to deep-tech startups.
The X2.0 is a sustainable legacy project of X-Europe and aims to leverage its predecessors’ established ecosystem, network, proven innovation action/Startup Europe methodology, and learnings, to generate a next-gen coordination action mechanism.
