Eduardo García

Eduardo García holds a degree in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and a PhD in Organic Chemistry applied to Nanoscience and Medicinal Chemistry from UAM and the IMDEA Nanociencia research institute. He also holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from UAM.

His research career has focused on the design and development of advanced materials for biomedical applications, including nanostructured platforms with functional properties and nanocarriers for the controlled delivery of drugs aimed at treating different types of cancer, as well as their validation through biological assays using relevant cell lines.

He has worked at Zabala Innovation since 2023 as an R&D&I consultant in the Madrid office, within the European Projects business unit. In 2025, he took on the role of Science and Education Knowledge Area leader, broadening the scope of his work and further strengthening his expertise in the calls for proposals and dynamics of Pillar 1 of Horizon Europe.
