Juan José Candel has a PhD in engineering and production, having completed his doctoral thesis in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Materials.
He has more than 12 years of experience in R&D&I project management, elaborating and managing proposals for national companies. He is a member of the team responsible for major European H2020 programmes.
He is currently team leader specialising in European programmes at the Valencia office, where he manages food and bioeconomy projects under the Horizon Europe programme.
