Silvia Agrafojo holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of the Basque Country (Spain), where she also completed an official Master’s degree in Participation and Community Development. She further enhanced her academic background with a postgraduate qualification in Internationalisation and Diplomacy (BEINT), as well as the Leaders of the Future programme, focused on leadership and social innovation.
As for her professional career, Silvia has built her experience in the field of strategic innovation, with a particular focus on projects with social impact, working for both the public and private sectors at Spanish and European level.
At Zabala Innovation, she designs and delivers social projects, as well as technical projects with social components. In addition, she leads the Social Innovation knowledge area in European Projects at Zabala Innovation, further consolidating her expertise in the design and implementation of initiatives under Horizon Europe programmes such as Cluster 2: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society and the New European Bauhaus, and Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV), among others.
