The main objective of the project was to promote the development of innovation systems in several companies located in Colombia (Nariño and Risalda). For this purpose, the project was focused on developing innovation strategies for each company and on creating innovation portfolios, on top of monitoring the companies’ management.
The work was divided into 4 stages:
1. In the first stage, the main objective was to increase the CEOs’ commitment to their companies, and more importantly, to motivate and make them more aware of the importance of their role within the companies and the need for their direct involvement.
2. The second stage’s main objective was to help companies establish a well-defined innovation strategy, aligned with their objectives and needs.
3. In the third stage, the main objective was to create an innovation portfolio for each company and to execute the adoption of an Innovation Management System.
4. Finally, support was given to the companies to generate their own innovation ecosystem, helping them meet different stakeholders (national or international), or potential allies, with the aim of sharing and developing innovation projects and creating new business opportunities.
Zabala Innovation will support the consortium’s activities in bringing cities and provinces closer to one another, contributing to multiple dimensions of their development.
Zabala Innovation is one of six partners in the consortium driving the shared ambition to make Europe a major player in the global battery industry.
Zabala carried out the exploration, rapprochement and generation of valuable alliances with potential international partners to promote initiatives of interest for the Medellin Life Sciences Hub.
