Zabala Innovation has supported in 2025 20 solidarity projects that address very different social challenges: from accompanying people in vulnerable situations to improving education, health or the natural environment. All the initiatives are part of a participatory call that channels the team’s social awareness towards organisations that work every day to improve life in their communities.

A process born from the team and built collectively

Zabala Innovation’s solidarity call is one of the company’s most significant moments of internal participation. It is a simple and transparent process designed so that everyone can contribute and take part in the decision-making.

Each office may submit the initiatives it wishes, always linked to a cause with direct social impact. Then comes the voting phase, in which the whole team evaluates the proposals considering aspects such as the need they address, the work of the promoting organisation or the personal and territorial connection to the cause. Based on this score, the most supported initiatives are selected.

In 2025, the call reached its highest level of participation: 35 proposals reflecting the diversity of perspectives and the social commitment present within Zabala Innovation. Behind each idea lies a personal story and a motivation that connects the reality of our offices with the daily work of organisations acting on the ground.

The selected initiatives reflect the breadth of causes that matter to the team: emotional support, health, inclusion, education, international cooperation, playful science or environmental protection. Our organisational culture

The participatory and collective nature of the solidarity call has become one of the clearest expressions of Zabala Innovation’s culture. Each proposal arises from a personal motivation; each vote reflects a shared consideration; each selected project represents a joint decision to support real causes with verifiable impact.

Inma Pereda, ESG Manager at Zabala Innovation, summarises it as follows:
“This call shows that sustainability is not just a strategy: it is a way of relating to our environment. Each proposal reflects a human story, a need and a commitment. At ESG level, this participatory model strengthens our social governance; at a human level, it reminds us that the most valuable impact is the one we create together.”
