Doubling success in LIFE proposals

Although the results of the projects presented to the 2019 call of the LIFE programme will not be known until next November, the data of the projects approved for the 2018 LIFE Programme have already been published and we are in luck: ZABALA maintains the approval rate of 60% in complete projects for its clients, compared to the estimated 30% European average, therefore, we double the average European approval rate.

It should be noted that this expertise in the LIFE Programme is not only based on the approval ratio, but is reinforced by the fact that we have achieved success in both LIFE branches (Climate and Environment) and in turn in all areas of this branch: water, waste, circular economy and air; in all of them, we have presented projects that have been developed.

LIFE+: Prominent position in France

In addition, we can confirm that, of the total projects financed in France by LIFE 2018, 40% are from ZABALA. In absolute numbers, five projects have been approved throughout France, two of them being the proposals presented by ZABALA Innovation Consulting.

Consolidated trajectory, continued success

During the period 2016-2017, ZABALA achieved a success rate of 60% for proposals submitted under the LIFE programme, reaching a total of 18 projects funded with coordinators and partners from more than 4 EU Member States.

In June 2018, 60% of the concept notes submitted by ZABALA were invited for full proposals in January 2019. At global level, the Commission reported that more than 1,000 concept notes were received. This past January we sent the 12 complete proposals from our clients, and we can already say that this year we have achieved 60% of the approval rate in the LIFE 2018 Programme as, of the 12 projects submitted, 7 have been approved.
