Agnieszka Gierej is a multidisciplinary professional with a strong background in research, project management, and EU funding. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Military University of Technology in Poland. Her expertise spans photonics, materials science, sustainability with a focus on emerging technologies. At Zabala Innovation in Brussels, she develops strategic and competitive proposals for Horizon Europe, CBE JU, MSCA, LIFE, and Innovation Fund programmes. Agnieszka combines scientific expertise, policy alignment, and project management skills to ensure research initiatives meet EU priorities and funding requirements.
