Andreas Villareal

Andreas Villareal is a multilingual Communications Consultant specialising in EU-funded research and innovation. Since October 2024, he has supported communication, dissemination, and exploitation efforts at Zabala Innovation Europe, where he leads and contributes to Horizon Europe projects focused on the green and digital transitions.

As Work Package Leader for dissemination, communication, and exploitation in CIRCWIND, a project advancing the sustainability of offshore wind turbines, he coordinates strategic messaging, branding, and stakeholder alignment across an international consortium. He also supports pAIramid (virtual AI-based aerostructure certification) and TransEuroWorkS (social protection policies and labour markets) in the same capacity, ensuring that scientific and policy insights reach their audiences through compelling narratives and engaging formats.

His work spans the full communications lifecycle: from identifying target audiences and designing corresponding communication strategies, visual identities and websites to drafting newsletters, press releases, and multilingual multimedia content for diverse audiences. Through this, he facilitates coordination between public and private partners, moderates high-level events, and ensures that each project not only communicates effectively but contributes to broader European policy dialogues.

With a background in political science and sustainability, Andreas brings a comprehensive and creative lens to future-focused storytelling. He is fluent in French (native), English, and German, and conversational in Spanish and Dutch.
