Esther Murillo has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. She has more than 5 years of experience as a project engineer in intelligent transport and security systems and has more than 7 years of experience related to R&D&I consultancy in the European Projects Department of Zabala first in the Brussels office and currently in the Madrid office.
Her main tasks are the global management of collaborative R&D&I projects for companies, universities or technology centres, the analysis of European funding opportunities for R&D&I projects and the preparation of proposals in various technological areas for European funding programmes and for tenders from multilateral organisations.
She has also participated in several European collaborative projects, such as: NGI Explorers Program or INNEON; as well as in the design, content development and management of several web platforms, such as: EU-Latin America Mineral Development Platform (MDNP), knowledge platform of the PPP SPIRE, the online portal “Due diligence ready!” or the ETP SmartGrids, among others.
She is a member of the working team responsible for coordinating the management of projects funded under the European programmes H2020, CEF and LIFE, as well as a member of the transport team responsible for the supervision of European calls related to this sector.
