External Advisers of the Commission for regional and urban policies
DG REGIO (Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy) aims to support job creation, business competitiveness, economic growth, sustainable development and the improvement in the quality of life of citizens in all regions and cities of the European Union. Zabala Innovation was approved as an external advisor for the strategic evaluation of regional and national policies on R&D and innovation during the period 2015 – 2018. Among the programmes assessed by Zabala, one of the most prominent were the two EU 100 programmes dedicated to cities: URBACT and URBAN INNOVATIVE ACTIONS (UIA).
Zabala Innovation collaborates with IAN by building spaces for dialogue between this agri-food company, public authorities and local communities in Namibia.
Zabala Innovation worked on monitoring regional R&I policies in Spain, within the RIM project.
In the final phase, ZABALA completed the detailed analysis of potential mechanisms, drew up the conclusions of the study and prepared a series of proposals to improve the existing mechanisms.
