Blockchers 2nd Open Call is open for registration

On January 13th, applications for the Open Call for the Blockchers project opened. SMEs across Europe that work with DLT technologies (blockchain and similar) can apply to participate in this aid program. You have until March 13 at 12:00 p.m. to apply.

This accelerator for SMEs will administer a € 750,000 fund in two calls to finance cases of use of blockchain technologies in traditional sectors. The selected SMEs will move to the immersion phase (proposal, launch and use) in which, throughout two phases, they will receive funding for their project and, in addition, receive other free services. A selected company could obtain up to € 50,000 of non-refundable financing if it reaches the end of the competition.

Any SME that works with blockchain technologies is eligible as a participant. To participate, start-ups should only complete a simple application form and present an agreement with another traditional SME end-user.

One of the main objectives of this project is to encourage collaboration between traditional SMEs and potential DLT specialists, as technology providers, and to promote knowledge about the benefits and opportunities of these technologies.

About the1st Open Call

The first Open Call had more than 100 applications of which 12 were selected and 8 of them have passed to the implementation phase. This phase is in process and will end in March with the selection of the winning startup of the 1st call.
