Challenge

The challenge MANTRA addresses lie in the difficult that European manufacturing SMEs face embracing the green digital transition. These business often struggle with limited embracing the green and digital transition. These business often struggle with limited access to expertise, financial resources, and tailored support necessary to adopt advanced technologies and social innovation. As a result, they find it hard to align with enviromental goals as sushc, as reducing CO₂ emissions, minimizing resource use, and implementing circular economy practices.

Solution

MANTRA seeks to boos green and digital transition of European manufacturing SMEs through the uptake of advanced technologies and social innovation. To that end, MANTRA will create and demostrate an effective and highly scalable European-wide capacity building and demosntration programme to provide SMEs with the required assitance, network of partners and experts, and financial support to elaborate and implement tailored transformation journeys leading to sustainable business models and, more competitive and resilence SMEs.

Impacts

MANTRA is expected to support 50 manufacturing SMEs in succesfully adopting advanced technologies and social innovation practices, leading to more sustainable and competitive business models. The initiative will contribute to key enviromental goals, such as reducing CO₂ emissions, minimizing resource consumption, and increasing circular economy practices. In the long term, the project aims to create a scalable and replicable mode, empowering SMEs across Europe to drive sustainable transformation.
